On the 18th of May my Atlas would have been one year old, alas, this evening it fell out of the sky as I came in to land.
I figure I stalled it, I'd almost completed the final turn, which was quite relaxed, when the right wing dropped significantly, I didn't have the height or skill to get out of it.
What seemed rather apt was that I was listening to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in the car on my way up to the field:
“What to do if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can't move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your current circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won't be troubling you much longer.”
