Wow, what can I say, what a great day that turned out to be. The sun was shining, there was a mild slight cross wind but nothing that couldn’t be handled ! It was great to see and catch up with so many Club Members, we hosted members from both the Christchurch and Wareham Clubs. It’s was also great to see lots of friends and family members coming along to enjoy the days flying. At a count, there were no less than 70 models on display and plenty of entertaining flying taking place throughout the day.

The BBQ went down a storm and was enjoyed by all with no food wastage which is always a bonus as it’s hard to judge quite how much food to buy. Thanks to all those who helped out on the day, with special thanks going out to John Bannister, Phil Ford and Peter Willis. Fingers crossed that our next club event, Memorial Fun Day later in August will be as successful.
