No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationMike I know you are careful with cash ;) but I bought one of these albiet the A5 version to make nav light lenses and it is very well made. Wished I had ordered the A4 version. The Guy, Mike (another Mike) makes larger versions, you might be interested.

Thanks, Phil. I think my biggest problem was the plastic I was trying to use...a 2l bottle. This plastic has already been stretched in the blow moulding process and it shrinks and distorts the frame as soon as heat is applied. His biggest kit will only just do a Rubin canopy and is a lot of money for a few pieces of wood that I could cut myself. So, yes, I am careful with cash and won't be buying.

Yes. And he's also offered me some plastic to use. But lock down and social distancing means a trip to Blandford will not be possible for some time and I'm keen to complete the model. I've already made the canopy from glass and will trim it to shape tomorrow when it's fully cured. Hopefully it will fit.

Canopy is complete and fits perfectly. And Rubin is also complete so it's time for covering.
