Brian, I have watched quite few of the videos, some are useful but some ramble on so much I lost attention too. I would much rather read the info (at my pace) along with decent images at each stage.

Written up the programming in Companion and wrote to TX. Used the Fox fuselage to check results (elevator & rudder). Compared to JR the rates % need to be lot lower than I expected. Although I have set elev and rudd to the 3 position switches It appears that I am only getting high and med, Ignores low rate.
Got timer running off throttle when above idle :)

Next job is "do I have to set both ailerons up independently or use a mix".

The equivalent Spektrum servo travel is -80% to 80%

I use the output tab to set servo end points.

I notice you've set up the switch to be (!SA) are you sure you don't want to pick the one with out the '!' i.e. (SA) I cannot remember what the '!' signifies but I'm pretty sure you don't want it ;)

Why are there two inputs for flaps?

Flaps? Two servos.
I'll check the switches again for no ! But the servos worked.
Yes the throws are massive at 100%. i'll set end points at 80% as Spektrum.

So much easier to program on the PC.:)

You only need one flap input, but two flap outputs just like your ailerons....

For two ailerons you need to set it up in "Mixes' but in reality all you're doing is assigning two outputs the same input:

So click on the CH?? (this relates to the CH on the RX) you want to be the other aileron on, a in new dialogue box opens, select the source .i.e. the aileron input [I4]Ali in my example:

You can reverse the servo direction here by putting a - next to the 100 weight, or do it in outputs. However don't do what I've just noticed I've done, invert it here then inverted it again in outputs!

I noticed you've put the rates for each control surface on a different switch, I'd never be able to dance around all the switches when flying, limited mental capacity on my part no doubt. I know we all fly differently and all have our own preferences, but the least amount of switch flicking the safer I feel. So I do everything on two switches, one is motor on off the other is a three way, and for the Mythos that is, Take Off/Landing, Flight & Spin. On the Alas (RIP) the retracts were also on that switch.
